Even thought we are an outsourced HR service provider, we will generally be in your office on a weekly basis delivering services and available to your Managers and employees. Most of our HR Managers are part of our client’s executive team and participate at the level the CEO desires.  We will get to know all of your employees very quickly.  We want to understand and fit into you organization’s culture.

Our annual Service Fee is typically 40% to 50% lower than the cost of having your own internal HR department.

 

Your Forté Team

Your Company will be assigned a team of HR professionals that will include the following:

  • An HR Field Manager who will visit your offices to determine and respond to your on-site needs.
  • An HR Client Services Manager that manages your projects and responds to your daily HR issues.

Forté employs certified HR professionals who supplement their experience with expertise in various HR topics.  Most of our employees are certified as Professionals of Human Resources by the Society for Human Resource Management.

 

WALKER T. WILLIAMS

Walker has over 40 years of Human Resources Management experience.  This experience includes serving as the Corporate Director of Training and Development for two $1+ billion dollar organizations in the hospitality and consumer goods industries.  He then changed career direction and was the  Senior Human Resources Officer for four organizations in four different industries.  These companies  ranged in size from $80 million in revenue with 400 employees to $1.5 billion in revenue and 45,000 employees.  After leaving corporate America, he and his business partner, Amy Hertling-Johnson, opened Forté Human Resources in August of 2000.

Walker has a Masters degree from Cornell University and a B.S. degree from Troy State University.

 

AMY HERTLING-JOHNSON
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & PRINCIPAL

Amy has over 30 years of business management experience, serving 25 of those years in Human Resources Management.  After graduating from college, she opened her own business delivering automation and human resources management consulting services.  She worked for several years in the banking industry, first as an independent consultant managing acquisitions, mergers and conversions as a project manager and later as an Assistant VP and Branch Manager.

Amy has served as the Senior Human Resources Officer for two corporations:  a large retail ski operator and a mid-sized high tech company.  As the Executive Vice President of Operations for Forté Human Resources for the last 16 years, she has been responsible for delivering a full service, outsourced Human Resources Department service to over 70 organizations ranging in size from 3 to 750 employees, serving all 50 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico and France.  Her professional strengths include Strategic Human Resources Management; Litigation Avoidance; Talent acquisition and Retention; and Compensation Strategy Management.

Amy has a B.A. degree from Augsburg College in Communications.
